Tomatoes- Green tomatoes will ripen on the counter.  They will ripen faster if placed near apples!

    I think it would be so neat to get a chart that shows easily how to store each type of produce, how long it will usually keep that way, and any unusual things about it (like eat the stems/don't eat the stems, can/can't eat it raw, freezes well or not, etc.). Sort of an "at a glance" resource. There's probably one already out there somewhere but I haven't found it.
